It Comes Together

By Jeremiah Pena | Published March 10th, 2010

It’s nearing the final moments of the story. The plot finally comes together, clicking into place with excitement, as the last tense section plays through. I wrote It Comes Together with the end of a book or movie in mind, full of lots of a-ha moments, and tons of action. It has ended up one of my finest pieces written, full of pounding drums, furious orchestra, and tense synths. Take a listen:

Expanded Collapsation

By Jeremiah Pena | Published March 4th, 2010

Here’s the newest Carbon Destruction track (#11 (not 135, contrary to nonexistent belief)), Expanded Collapsation, definitely one of the more experimentalized songs on the album.

I decided to incorporate some French Horn, something I haven’t used much on Carbon Destruction, along with the usual orchestra and synth ensemble. There’s some interesting background percussion as well. Please let me know what you think! And if you like it, tell your friends (or acquaintances, or just some random person in the Walmart parking lot).
