New Blog

By Jeremiah Pena | Published June 7th, 2010

That’s right. A new blog. It’s running on Posterous, a service I very highly like. But you may be thinking: “Wait. There’s already this blog right here! Why another one?”

Well, my answer happens to be that this blog is really just my news blog, for music releases, videos, etc. I didn’t really have a personal blog to put whatever I felt like. So that’s why my new one is. My personal blog for whatever randomness I feel like randomly speaking.

Anyway, you can get to it by the “Blog” link on the site navigation up on the top of the location of the site that you are on. Or you can click here. I would highly suggest you subscribe to it. It’s very simple, and lets you get new posts magically via email, or RSS. Excitingness.

Carbon Destruction Sale Over

By Jeremiah Pena | Published March 25th, 2010

The Carbon Destruction 40% Off Sale is now over, and the album is back to its usual price of $4.99.

I’ve decided that Carbon Destruction will have one more track before it is officially “finished.” That would make it 14 tracks, plus the bonus track, for a total of 15 tracks long. The final track will be a tribute to the first track, Carbon Destruction (which the album is named after), and will be titled… Return to Destruction. I’ve already started the compositionizing process, and have about half the song done. It most likely won’t be finished for a while, however.

One last thing: Once the final track is in place, I’m planning to use CDBaby‘s service to get Carbon Destruction on all the major (and many not-so-major) digital distribution sites. That includes iTunes, Zune, Amazon, Rhapsody, and a ton of others. Sound good? It does to me too!

New Forum

By Jeremiah Pena | Published March 14th, 2010

The forum was a great community, with thousands of posts by many wonderful members. However, spam registrations got way out of hand, so I decided to lock down the forum, and create a brand new one. The new, improved forum is now up, so please register and join the community! (I just put 3 links to it in the last sentence, for your ease of getting there. You can also press the forum link on the site’s navigationalized bar.)

Reinstalling Windows and Rebooting Dreamscape

By Jeremiah Pena | Published January 3rd, 2010

Lately I’ve been having a lot of computer issues. So my dad and I set out to fix it, and completely messed it up even more. Just say that my user folder went invisible, so we duplicated it on accident, and mass chaos ensued.

So we simply decided to format the drive and reinstall Windows Vista. I already had all my files backed up so it wouldn’t be that bad.

And so we did so, and now I’m very happy we did it! Windows seems to fast, clean, and awesome now. Now I’m just going through the process of installing all necessary software (with an emphasis on necessary); mostly music creation stuff. My next New Year’s Resolution is to not install anything I won’t use a lot or don’t need. I’m going to try to keep the computer as fast and clean as possible. Let’s just hope that I can manage doing that.

Well, the secret project previously known as Dreamscape has now sort of failed, so I’ve decided to take it into my own hands. It started out as a storyline for a book, and became a private role play via email. However, it died out pretty fast. But I feel that the storyline is the best I’ve ever come up with. So I’m going to attempt to write a book out of it. So my 3rd New Year’s Resolution is to actually finish it. (Everyone bug me to work on it, just not too much. If you bug me too much, I’ll get annoyed and give up.)

So here’s the basic storyline in a confusing description:

Imagine that there are 2 realities, like 2 seperate universes. We (humans) live in both realities. I will call them Reality 1 and Reality 2.

When we are awake, we are in Reality 1, but when we sleep, our conscience goes to Reality 2 while we are dreaming.

Our dreams are Reality 2.

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the two realities were switched. When we were awake, we were in Reality 2, and when we were asleep, we were in Reality 1. But something happened.

A species of creatures came and started hunting humans in Reality 2. They were killing more and more people, and the human race was dying off.

But a group of people got together, and figured out a way to use Quantum energy to switch the two realities, and to distort Reality 2.

So after that, Reality 1 was our main Reality 2, and because of the Distortion of Reality 2, our dreams are extremely random, and the creatures can no longer hunt us.

The book starts when the Quantum energy distorting Reality 2 is slowly starting to fail. It will slowly get worse until it finally breaks completely, and Reality 2 is no longer distorted. When that happens, the creatures can hunt us again and kill off the human race.

So, yeah. I hope that actually made sense…

Use the magical comment form to bug me about doing it.
