Expanded Collapsation

By Jeremiah Pena | Published March 4th, 2010

Here’s the newest Carbon Destruction track (#11 (not 135, contrary to nonexistent belief)), Expanded Collapsation, definitely one of the more experimentalized songs on the album.

I decided to incorporate some French Horn, something I haven’t used much on Carbon Destruction, along with the usual orchestra and synth ensemble. There’s some interesting background percussion as well. Please let me know what you think! And if you like it, tell your friends (or acquaintances, or just some random person in the Walmart parking lot).

Ceremonial Destruction of Arkonia

By Jeremiah Pena | Published February 25th, 2010

I’m releasing three new tracks today. Yes, you read that correctly. Three new tracks, all of them electronic or electronic/orchestral hybrids, and all are awesome!

Let’s start out with Carbon Destruction, my idea of what happens when you mix various styles of Electronica, Orchestral, and Rock together. It starts off a bit slow, but builds up, and wait till the last third to get some nice electric guitar:

Next is Arkonia, which I’ll loosely classify as trance, although some elements don’t fit in that category:

And finally, there’s Ceremonial Paradox, a strange mix of styles, with instruments ranging from synth leads, bells, pads, taiko drums, and a solo viola and cello:

Land of There

By Jeremiah Pena | Published February 24th, 2010

I decided to go a bit experimental with this track, with some interesting synths and percussion. It’s definitely not like anything I’ve ever composed before. Check it out:
